Out. That's Easter weekend.
I'll be on Martin Creek. In

Forecast update I am now experiencing minor turbulence with this being on Easter Weekend; but I'm not doing any fishing this weekend and returning from the camp out early Sunday AM The weather forecast looks great

Forecast is holding. It'll be breezy, but no crazy wind like the last three weekends. The Great Easter Weekend Compromise of 2017 with my wife is that I'll drive up there Thursday and drive back on Saturday at sunset. Unless I hear otherwise, that road is still under repair, so I'll be taking one of the alternate routes.

Again anyone want to come up and fish and or camp out then come on up! I wont be there till Friday but if you want to fish in quiet get up there on Thursday and fish with Collin ha ha.

Unless there is some other road construction coming in from the east side is actually faster to coffee mill. Hope they are biting. That lake can be really good at times.

spillway on coffee mill got damaged in our first big storms back in march.
all you could get to off of 100 was the ramp.

The lakes are less than a mile apart, but are vastly different.
Crockett is clear, with lots of pads, grass, and vegetation
Coffee Mill is heavily stained with lots of reeds and more timber
Sometimes Crockett fishes better and other times Coffee Mill.
My default is to choose the one with less boats on it / avoid the one where a tournament is taking place
There are a couple of other lakes and other camping areas nearby if they both have tournaments/both loaded with boats.

Last I heard they still had Crockett drawn down but I haven't been out there this year yet.
