My wife is playing in a softball tournament Saturday in Rowlett, so I decided to drag the boat over there and pop my cherry on Lake Ray Hubbard.

Pretty Stoked. After a couple reports I have read the water is 64-69 degrees...said their good on spinner baits and T-rig.

I see a lot of the area up north of 66 is 15ft or less with anywhere to flooded timber to lily pads. But after the heavy rain last week and supposedly another one is coming through tomorrow I'm assuming the north end will be pretty dirty water from the river flowing in?

My only question is should I spend most of my time up there? or should I stay south? I will be in a tiller handle boat so I cant make them long runs up and down the lake like most of you guys.

You can also fish the riprap South side of i30 between Bayview and the bridge. Use a 3/8 oz jig in black/blue,brown,or green pumpkin. That should get you a few big bites. Good luck....
