The Bass Club of the West will be resuming it's weekly bass tournaments on Lake Worth out of the Casino beach ramp. $20 per fisherman plus an optional $5 big bass side pot. We'll be out there starting tonight to sign folks in at around 5:45pm with fishing starting at 6:30 and weigh in ending @ 10:00pm. Need more info, give me a call @ 817-714-5163.

No, not yet. We will be out there Wednesday this week and have a club meeting Thursday that it will be decided on. Anyone with a preference?

We appreciate the input. We do want it to be something the fisherman want. I will be sure to provide that input Thursday @ 7 pm @ Arizola's restuarant in Lake Worth.

Had 13 fisherman last night. A chilly north east wind gave the fish lock jaw, well for most of us, and only four people wieghed fish. Vince Repola won with 3 fish, 9.12lbs with the 4.26lb big bass. Rick Heaslet took second with one 3.58lb fish. Good turn out for a Wednesday night and I have had a lot of feed back on the decision of when to fish. I know a couple of you like the week nights, but the majority of the feed back is that after dark, the fish turn off. I am leaning toward Sunday myself as I can't see squat after dark. We meet tonight, 7pm @ Arizolas in Lake Worth for any of you interested in joining a club or getting in on the discussion.

Gary, I vote to keep it on Wednesday night. Moving it to sunday would interfer with guys club tournys and media tournys. Just a thought. Also, thanks for putting on a great tournament now in its third year. It is a great deal.

Well, we discussed it, cussed it and made a decision. I know that there would be some people unhappy either way. We will be holding the final Wednesday evening tournament this coming week on the 11th. On Sunday the 15th we will begin holding a weekly team tournament with fishing starting at 7 am and weigh in cut off at 3 pm. Sign ins will start at 6 am and we will be launching and weighing in at the 820 ramp. We will launch here until we have to move up stream. This will be a team format with a team entry fee of $40 and an optional $10 big bass pot. It will be an 80% pay out on the tournament with 1 place paid for each 5 teams. Big bass will pay out 100% with one place paid for each 10 teams. 5 fish per team may be weighed. All bass must be 14" or greater in length. A complete set of rules will be available at sign in. Any questions can be answered by calling me @ 817-714-5163.
