So I've got a free Saturday, and of course the wind is gonna blow 15 mph all day. sick hammer
Any suggestions on local lakes where a guy might get out of the wind a bit and find some crappie? I know there at different depths on different lakes right now.
Was thinking probably west side of one the local lakes: Lewisville, Grapevine, RR, Lavon, etc. Only been up here about 6 months, and Lewisville and RR are the only two lakes I've really been on. Just don't want to make a long drive.
Oh, and I have a 19' Ranger. Not scared to get out in it a bit to get where I need to go.
Any input would be appreciated!

EW

I would put in at pilot knoll Park in Highland Village and make the short protected run up Hickory Creek.

EW, If you were heading 365 miles south I'd tell you to fish the south side of the small island leaving BJ's Marina in the East Fork of Lake Houston. I got 3 BP's of cypress and pvc in 12 to 14 FOW that's protected from a north/east wind. I'm sure you wouldn't vacuum every fish from those holes for my future trips.

There's like 50,000+ crappie chasers here and "0" replies, Crickets, Seriously, Crickets!!!!

Advice from AJ, "Good Luck"
