Definitely an alien. I'm sure you got out of there just in time before you were abducted into their craft.

Too funny the difference of opinions from Facebook to forums to Instagram, etc.

So Jerry, what I Really want explained...so what is this "my brother wrapped the rod" thing...I know for a fact, you used to fish loomis, then moved over to that thing that Tbox sells, X-rod or something, .now you are using hand blanks and getting your brother to wrap them...???...so explain what gives...I am sure others (that know you) want to know also....so just give it up

When you've already created the perfect hand-tied jig, you have to search for the perfect rod!!

Money can't buy you happiness, but it can rent you something so damn close you'll never be able to tell the difference.

Once he gave me a Paty with a blue tail...actually, gave me a few of them...those jigs caught so many fish for me in muddy water...i almost cried with I lost the last one...and now he is so busy, I hate to even ask him to make me some...cause I know he wants to do a bit of fishing....i mean hey, if you are going out to test a custom BRO Made rod for 15 minutes, under the guise of lifting a 13" crappie 6 foot out of the water, you REALLY want to go fishing...LOL

Call him and get in line. The busier he is the happier he is.

It's basic lens flare. It moves erratically because of the shakiness & angle of the camera and the direction of the sun hitting the lens.

I don't know... seems more like light refraction through the line to me? Fun speculation either way - thanks for chiming in.

LoL @ Dale and Bruce! roflmao

Holy Toledo, y'all crack me up.

I haven't mentioned anything about my blanks because they're not publicly available from G-Rods. I didn't want to open a can for Glenn and the guys on the team (and yes, I've spoken to Mr. Miller before making this post)...

Glenn and I hooked up in late 2015. To make a long story short, we traded some-special request jigs for rod blanks. I was fortunate to meet him when he had very few blanks/leftover stock that he no longer has.

As for my brother's rod company, he's working an oilfield job and not trying to get any busier than he is with his rod company (at least for now). His rod company name is E3:20 Rods. We built this rod on a 5'4" G-Rod Crappie Pro blank. We added 2 extra eyes and a 7.5" custom cork (Tennessee style) handle.

When I get a minute to take nice pictures/videos of it, I'll share/review the rod.

To put things into perspective, I've gotten rid of both of my Loomis SJR 6400's, one of which I traded as labor for the rod wrapping. This rod is unlike any I've seen. The entire rod head-to-toe is 2.4 oz.

Jerry T., be honest...those Loomis' were worn out anyway! Shoot my boneheads had those loomis beat hands down, and you knew it...so going to the next big thing (ie., G-rods) is a logical process...anyway, i havent fished one of those G rods yet, but I hear the top of the line rods are the real McCoys...or at least they are perceived as somewhat better (or lighter) than Boneheads by at least one person I know that also sells them...of course, since I am used to the boneheads, I will have to be the judge of that for myself...pretty sure I can buy at least one bonehead and maybe almost get another for the price of a top of the line G-Rod, maybe two...but hey, a good rod is worth a lot in the heat of the battle. But I will reiterate, a good fisherman can catch fish with an oversized hook, using a piece of tire for bait, tied to a broomstick with a piece of yarn! Of course, you got a bro wrapped super special custom rod...get another one made...I may just head overr that way and try it out...I'll drag a boat and we can fish that old worn out crappie lake over there...you can spend your time tying jigs on the boat if you want to...I will just fish your rod some...see if I like it....maybe, I will...if so, then I can just go chase up ole Tbox and try out one of them long rods, he sells, see if they got the backbone i need for the stuff I like to fish...Tbox is so busy fishing/winning them tourneys, he doesnt have time to fish with regular old guys like me anymore... stir bolt
