Spent Saturday-Wednesday fishing at Palestine. Saturday was a good day. Got tougher Sunday and Monday following the front/rain. Plus, the wind was bad most of those days. Tuesday was much better. Caught the majority of our fish off brush in 14-18' of water. Went in thinking we would find them shallow. Found some shallow but it seemed to be mainly smaller males shallow. Moved out to brush and caught good size. Never limited out but got close on Tuesday. Here is my nephew with a 2.5 LB crappie and my sister with a 2 LB. on Saturday our best 7 would have gone 14.1 LB's. We had 4 at 2 pounds or bigger that day.

I didn't realize you were fishing Palestine when you sent the pictures! Hah! I have another customer that was out on Palestine last weekend as well.

Some good looking fish and 14 lbs is no small feat for 7 fish. Nice trip, buddy.

those are boat paddles!!! long like waco fish, but heavier. good haul. thumb

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Those are some nice looking fish! Had opportunity to fish Palestine last November and really enjoyed it.
