We joined in on the spring catching this weekend before the cold front hit. Most fish were caught in less than a foot of water to 3 foot of water. Some I caught in 18' of water.
All were really solid fish but no really big ones, and only a couple of dinks released.
Most fish were caught on a smaller bait. We used the thermocline lures Mr. Fry in purple passion and some Slab Slobber to help them find it in the muddy water.
I ran all over the lake and we worked hard, but had a good time out there. cool

Good Times!

thumb I decided to skip Lavon this weekend and headed out to Lake Arlington. My buddy and I finished with 46 and the same applied as to the little ones. We were catching 9 keepers to every dink. They really slowed down @ 1 and we didn't get out there until 10:30

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
