Anyone recommend a product/s that does a good job and cleaning a fiberglass boat. In the past I've used a diluted solution of about one part Simply Green to water and it does a good job, but appears to take the wax off the finish. Not interested in some of the expensive products I've seen listed on this and some of the other forums.
Any comments / inputs will be appreciated.

Car wash products will clean it but may not remove all of the water stains and will eventually take the wax off. "Boat Soap" will do the same at twice the cost. Anything that cleans will remove wax.

I use Soft Scrub with bleach. Powerwash the boat to get it damp, shake up the Soft Scrub, use a bristle brush to work an area and powerwash it off, then repeat on another small area. Working incredibly well as long as your boat isn't carpeted.
Simple Green is great in the bilge, but not on the rest of the boat. It is a strong, but natural degreaser. I use it to commercially clean firearms.

Why do you wax your boat in the first place. Get the wax of and buy some Bow to Stern then all you have to do is wash it with a wet rag then dry it.

Lime Away works pretty good, too. After you use it, though, it kind of leaves behind a residue that has to be washed off with just water. But it's good to use if you've gone on a trip, fishing several days without cleaning the boat, and have quite a bit to clean other than the typical "wiping it down" routine.

Star-Brite Hull Cleaner. I put it in a pump sprayer. Keep it away from galvanized and raw aluminum parts. Be sure and apply a good coat of wax or sealer immediately afterward.

A gallon of boat soap at academy has lasted me over a year. Couple of capfuls each wash. 22 ft deep v cc has a lot of gelcoat to clean.
