I'm looking for ideas on two things: mounting and LED light bar.

I want to mount on the bow of my boat and be able to use while running at night (I'll have a switch to turn off so I don't blind anybody).

But more important to me, I would like to have it mounted so while fishing, I can swivel it to light the area I am fishing. Looking for any thoughts, ideas, or experience if you've done this.

What light bars have you bought and had or not had success with? Recommendations for which light bar to buy? I'm thinking no bigger than 12".

Thanks for advice in advance.

Light bars are different. You can turn on a 52" light bar in the dark on a lake and have to look at the switch to tell if it's on. The led is really clear. However you will see stumps. My 12" light bar is fine for up to about 35mph. After that you out run the reaction time.
