I don't get it. Unless they are going to let me drive, I have no interest.

Watching cars go in a circle is about as interesting as soccer. Add some obstacles or something to the track and I might tune in. Maybe a jump or two would make it interesting.

ironic that tony stewart ran this race 18 times and no wins then after his retirement he won it in his 1st yr as an owner.

Basically that's the race in my opinion.

That's what I just did and it was very boring...

Decent question. It probably takes about 10 years of watching the races and and all the pre race shows, ect to understand.

There is a lot that goes into it and on some race days racers on the same teams mess each other up.

Same here. I would rather watch paint dry.

With this new race format with breaks and points at every break, gonna need a calculator to see who's leading the points. I'll pass!

Not what it used to be for sure... but I have to say I did enjoy the parts of the Daytona race I watched. The first 2 segments put me to sleep, once I woke up I hit the rewind button and watched the last 25 laps. The race had everything a guy could want, the 24 didn't win, the 88 wrecked out, Danica wrecked out, Jimmy Johnson wrecked out, and a Ford powered car won. smile

When I lost interest in NASCAR was when they started racing Toyotas. To me the great American race wasn't so great anymore. I'm just too much old school redneck I guess.

Just one more cast!
