Anyone fished Lewisvile lately or know what's up this time of year?

Pre-spawn patterns?

Thinking of trying near the cut and the brushy shoreline over by the old dam area.

I like your plan. I would fish brush near rocks nice and slow like till they tell you that you can go faster.

How did you do!?

Caught 12 in 2 1/2 hours on the hickory creek side Saturday biggest being 5lber. They were stacked on points and pretty aggressive. Jerkbait was the lure that worked the best for me. Water temp was right around 60.

fished from about 9am to 1:30. due to windy conditions, fished the shallow back end inside the old dam area. Not even a bump over there. I think I was up too shallow. Finally wised up and fished a boat ramp in one of the coves. We caught three 3+ pounders in about 10 minutes. Fish were suspended in about 8 to 10 feet and hit deep cranks. I wish I had headed over to that cove (unsure the name of it but it's the first cove on the southeast side of the lake, with a marina (also don't know the name of it). There were a lot of deep points that would have probably been good, had I not run out of time. Oh well, catching those 3 three pounders was fun, can't wait to go back! I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Thanks for reporting back dude!

Glad you got some action. Those fish WILL be up shallow here any day with this warm weather.

What do y'all think about this weekend? Planned on going on Saturday, and know the fish have most likely been pretty shallow this week but with the colder weather coming in on Saturday only thing I would think is to do would be back up of the bank and slow down? Just curious as to what y'all think about a plan for Saturday.
