Me or my family has had a boat slip at Big Mineral marina for over 20 years. A couple of years ago a tornado or straight line winds demolished it. I have talked to the owners a few times and always get the same answer when I ask when is it going to be rebuilt, " we're working on it and not sure of a completion date". Is there any chance anyone knows any info on this? I have heard that the owners want to sell the marina. I sure would like to have my boat house back, I'm missing my wintertime crappie bite.

I have my RV up there and they pull it out to a camping spot when i need it. They have been nice. I have no idea what is going on. But the people I talk to are nice.

Last time I was there there was metal and foam that looked to be for the new dock but it's been a few weeks. The great flood of 2015 really put the hurt on most Texoma Marinas and put a lot of guides out of business. The folks at Big Mineral have done a pretty good job getting things back going considering how small the marina actually is. as far as them selling or wanting to sell I have not heard but they have been working on something daily since the flood!

Like I have said before I have had a slip there for over 20 years and agree with you 100 percent. John, Lisa, and the whole gang have been nothing but nice to me and my family. It just never made sense to me to spend all that money to rebuild the store/office when there was a temporary trailer serving the same purpose. If they would have built the boathouse back that is steady money coming in every month. Obviously I am biased because I miss my fishing hole.
