I just talked to him Monday for over an hour making plans for fishing as soon as he got over the shingles in his shoulder. I met him om Miller creek years ago and he and a fellow fisherman named Tommy always fished together. We lost Tommy to cancer several years back and my first thought after the shock, was, he and Tommy are having a lot of catching up to do, RIP, Tony

Oh no. Tony was a good friend. He befriended me and my nephew and taught my nephew to tie jigs. I can't believe he is gone. Hickory Nut, Joe and Tony also came to my SIster In Laws cancer benefit and donated jigs and 2 big bags of fillets for us to cook. They didn't even know any of us at the time and drove all the way to Graham from Wichita Falls to lend a hand.
Yep we lost a goodun for sure. Bet I know where he went. Prayers to his family and his friends.

I would rather die finding out there was no God than die finding out there is.

I hate to hear this. Never had the opportunity to meet Tony in person but made friends with him on this forum. Lost my tackle box a couple years ago and Tony insisted on helping me replace my tackle. He sent me sacks and sacks of his jigs and refused to let me pay him. I sent him some money anyway and he scolded me for it. Dang, I wish I could have shaken his hand. Rest in peace friend.

More than likely, if you met Tony on the lake, this is how you first saw him As good a fisherman as I have had the pleasure to fish with
