Thanks for all the comments guys. I have been leaning towards the Triton and really started entertaining the Nitro because I know the GM of a dealer, and I like that you can put a 175 on the Z18.

The 18TRX is the exact same boat as the 189 except it has a beefed up transom and is rated for a 200. These boats are wide, FAST, and fish big

I bought a Z-18 in February...150 four-stroke. Many of my other buddys have some very very nice extremely expensive boats 21' Phoenixs and Legends, and Yes they are probably some of the nicest boats you can buy....but My Z-18 lets me do everything I wanted to do with a Bass boat I have decent speed, 63 with 2 people loaded down. I have a ton of Front deck room and of course the Price -comparatively is probably the best bang for the buck. Im very happy with mine, I use it quite a bit and its extremely functional.

I've had a TR-186 and their 21 footer. They are very light and rough on you. I have owned about 5 nitro boats and currently have a 2014 Z9. I much prefer the Nitro. They have a large front deck that is really comfortable and gives you a ton of room. The ride is much better also. Take a ride in both and I'm sure you will like the Nitro also.

I wouldn't consider this as a negative. if anything i would count this as a positive in Triton's favor. you know you're getting a brand that stands behind their products and does what it takes to make things right, even if it means a financial hit.

Thats a nice one, congrats! Prolly should change your handle, though. How about RedRanger2?

Good Luck!
