Anybody know anything about these old lures? I've come across quite a few in their original boxes and was wondering if anyone knew if they were collectible.

Thanks,

Looks like these

They were part of a "fishing system" invented by a dude named Buck Perry... I used to see articles about his structure fishing methods in the fishing rags back in the 70's and 80's, but he goes back a lot farther than that... I still have a few of his Spoon Plugs in a box somewhere, so I guess you could say they are collectible...LOL

WOW! That's OLD SCHOOL!!! Google some of his articles. He had some very very good concepts for deepwater structure fishing that are still valid today. Those lures were more easily used in the deeper water since it was before the deep water soft plastic REVOLUTION of today. There is still information and lures available: http://www.spoonplug.net/.

I had quite a few that I sold on ebay a few years ago and made good money. There are both collectors and followers of this technique up north and the lures sold very well to them.
