Evidently a couple of guys got into over what looks like maybe a door dent at Kroger's parking lot. One guy shoots the other guy five or six times at very close range. Hope it was worth it to him...

Yeah, one is dead but the other is going to be passed around prison like a ............never mind.

I feel for the deceased and his family. I hope the shooter suffers for a long time.

It doesn't take much to get shot these days. Just be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the wrong place can be anywhere.

We don't know who was the aggressor yet and who was playing defense. The story I read said the shooter and his wife stayed and waited for the police and were 100% cooperative. It just may be that the dead guy was the bad guy.

We'll have to wait for more details.

Goes hand in hand with the road rage thread last week. It doesn't take much for a minor situation to escalate out of control.

Here is the latest I've found. Victim standing outside shooters vehicle. Talk is getting aggressive. Victim says he's armed. Shooter says he is too. Victim reaches behind his back, shooter fires from inside his car and kills the victim. Victim was not armed. Shooter went into custody and was released pending investigation

I'm going to disagree. It happens but for every person getting shot there is millions more who went about their day and didn't get shot. Most "victims" were not random acts of violence. Some are but most are not. Whether the shooting was justified or not from what we have so far he could have walked back to his car and waited for police. He didn't and it got him killed. Don't act like a bad-a, be curtious to others, use your head and don't be involved in criminal activity and it is very very unlikely you will be shot.

What a shame, it could have turned out so different

With 150-200,000 LTCs being issued every year, being in the wrong place is getting easier all the time.

Be interesting to see if this was caught on camera. I would not want to be in the shooters shoes at this point I doubt he walks on this one. This just seems completely senseless.
