Phoenix police officer responding to shots fired gets ambushed by gunman. Passing motorist stops to aide PO, ends up shooting and killing the perp....  Suspect had just shot and killed his female passenger, and was slamming cops head into roadwa after shooting him twice. Arizona law will protect the the passing motorist, no charges to be filed. Cop should survive injuries

Heck yes! And were I driving by that scene, I'd do the same thing. I might get killed or I might not. But I am sick and tired of people assaulting and killing our police officers.

If you see a citizen getting assaulted by a police officer would you stop and help just asking... Nope, if the cop had to escalate things to that level then the citizen should have shut his/her mouth, respected authority, and did what they were told to do. I may pull over and volunteer to taze the citizen though.
