I don't like game. Always worried I'm going to hit them. We have one a spot at the lease you have to go out the game from camp and down the county round to get to. There's a heeler at an old farm house that sits and waits for vehicles...we have smoked with the ranger twice! He still does it

My dog ran in front of the truck. At least until a few months ago when I ran over him. He's educated now.

Change the rules. Dont let them chase you. Stop and give a shot of pepper spray

I don't understand it. My dog doesn't even turn his head when a car goes by. Wonder what make them tick.

Cold/hot, hungry/not hungry , light/dark. That's all dogs know.

Dogs that run after cars are great. They look so happy when they are doing it, and I love watching dogs be happy. It's like they know what their purpose in life is, it gives them meaning. Over time, they get better at it. They learn the best angle to attack, they learn traffic patterns, they even learn how to properly bark while doing this. Not everyone has a herd of sheep to watch over. Chasing cars is a good way to replace that. It makes them smile which warms my heart.

Instead of chasing I have seen some dogs just spin circles really fast while cars go by. WTH
