Beautiful lake at Cleburne State Park with good bank access. Caught mostly small bass, but it was constant action and lots of fun. Good success using 6-inch Texas rigged worms. Great place to take the kids and have a good time!

Wow!
We have fished that lake several times and had very very limited success.
Camped there in October, 3 guys in kayaks, good fisherman. We caught between all of us maybe 10 bass in 3 full days.
Some other buddies went earlier in the spring and had a little yak tourney, 8 guys. They had a combined 4 fish ia full day.
Glad to hear there are fish there.

That little lake is full of small fish Thats not what we found lol. Maybe we missed them but man I swear that lake is about empty. I suspected it might not be good when I saw it has a 3 fish limit with the min. size being 18 inches. That is the kind of regulation you see on lakes with very low fish density.

I probably went on a lucky day and just found them. It does seem to be a bunch of small ones. With some good management maybe that lake will grow some nice ones!

Actually the nice ones are out where you can only get to them by boat. Same with any lake. Come spawning time some big ones come shallow
