Hi Everyone,

I have been trying to find a time to go out and fish Lake Worth this month. I am familiar with the lake, but I have not been out in a while though. Would anyone be willing to share some ideas of where to start my search for some largemouth bass or have some tips of what depth to fish at with this colder weather? Any suggestions/ tips would be much appreciated.

I like to fish on contours this time of year. Here is a spot to try of the end of Goat Island where there are some irregular features in the contour. I have found that the parks and Wildlife officials do a very good job in putting fish attractors on or near these kinds of spots. So when looking at your paper map take a look at all of them, as many are set close to irregular features that hold fish. Not saying to fish the attractor but they are a good reference for taking a look at the surrounding contours.

I like using a Crig to drag the 20 ft. contour with a Baby Brush Hog.
