Has anyone fished the leon river during the run? I have never tried it was just thinking it might be a a good spot to fish with my kayak. Any advise from the pros to a newbie? Thanks y'all!

Put your kayak in at Iron Bridge Park and paddle upstream to the Log Jam during the run. There are lots of places along the way to catch sand bass. You will be competing with the bank fishermen but you should still have fun. The hybrids can't reproduce but they will still go to spawn. That would be fun in a kayak.
