Lol I'll bet someone 1000$. Let me line up some 20+ inch hybrids I have in my freezer from Tawakoni, Lewisville, ray Hubbard, Rowlett etc... and see if y'all can tell me where it's from....

Zoom fluke jr in white ice and rooster tails. Caught a few on itty bitty rattle traps when they stopped taking the jigs.

I've pulled some 10lb hybrids out of rowlett @ firewheel before.
A little "know-how" trumps the best lure any day!

I've caught a 25lb black boot out of that creek before. It was a size 12 and full of water. Thought I snagged a creek tuna, but I landed it on 6lb test so it had to be some kind of igfa line class record.

Congrats on a very nice cath !!! But those sure look like Lewisville hybrids Are you suggesting that just like every year, people are posting pics from other creeks and rivers in the RC thread?  The bigger hybrids come out at night off of cork and jig about 2' apart. These were the 2 biggest out of the limit. The others were about 1-2" smaller. Took about 30 mins to limit and that was me being picky. Go out and get y'all some!! Some people think it's hard to fish for hybrids and sandbass but it's not that hard. Don't over think it. Just have fun with it! Confidence is key and don't be afraid to ask other people (if they are catching) what they are using.
