caught 18 alligator gar over 100 pounds and 7 over 7 foot this year. probably about 200 other gar of smaller size..
caught allot of other species as well this year, spent hours at a time releasing white bass every cast

Keep a counter handy and have logged pictures of outing with a picture of the counter number. Some days over 50 fish of five different species, other days a couple a dozen.
Do you count only legal size fish or all fish caught?

Who the hell counts there # of fish for the year? why not,..thats like playing football or golf and not keeping score..

I catch at least 5 each time I go. I go about 5 times a month every month. At 12 months that would be 300 fish at least. at the most 2000 I would say. Who the hell counts but guides?!?! LOL

The day of fishing I usually make a mental note of how many and then forget shortly thereafter. If fishing was about numbers then I ultimately would not get satisfaction with it. There are many times I go and catch 1 or 2 and have a splendid time on the water. I guess if you are a guide or tournament fishermen the numbers are very important!
It was a different world when we were boys and girls....

no clue but, this month over November after living a full month in Texas I caught around 20-25LMB.

Not many. Cancer cut into my fishing time, but now that the wife is cancer free I hope to improve on the number.
Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!
