Would insurance premiums be higher for my boat wet docked at Tawakoni rather than in my backyard in a gated community in Dallas County? Seems like wetdocking should be cheaper since the boat wouldn't have to be towed back and forth to the lake.

It all depends on the carrier. In the water there is a higher risk of theft and the fact it could sink. The weather is a issue as well.
Insurance companies set there rates based on location and claims history. I hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks Bob Luellen
