Do most of you guys always tie on hooks, or do you use swivels on the hook end to make it easier to switch between circle hooks and trebles for punch bait or do you just use multiple rigs and keep them all rigged the same? I'm using 20lb Power Pro and 50lb fluorocarbon for leaders.

If you mean snap swivels, I don't use them. I use a barrel swivel in between my mainline and leader and then I always snell a circle or kahle hook.

Yes, I meant to say snap swivels.. What about treble hooks & punch bait, snap swivel or tie?

I tie all of mine. Palomar on everything but circle hooks which get the snell.

Same here, I always snell my circle hooks and I use the palomar knot for all other hooks, doesn't take much for a big cat to bite down and open up a snap swivel if it is positioned in there mouth just right.
