(Monday 10-31-16)
It was a "Trick 'Em" kinda day
We actually didn't have any plans to go, but after a customer stopped by and said that after today, the clouds were moving in, we quickly made plans to go out
We finished up what we had to get done in the shop and headed out.
Put in at 515W ramp, idled out.
There was a pontoon tied up to a stump close to a submerged tree that has been good, so we decided to just idle past.
I asked Belinda if she minded if we look for new spots
I could tell by the look on her face that she wasn't totally onboard, but she agreed.
We kept idling along, passed over a spot that I have been over many times in the past in 26fow
Found a small hump that came up to 18 with a stump and brush pile, that dropped off back as quick as it came up
We caught 7 or 8 there, then took back off idling along.
Found a "Rainbow" tree that some fish in the top that was almost on the bottom
Caught some more there, then jumped up on plane and headed to the other side of the arm.
Found a brush pile on a point
Caught some more there
Altogether, we found 5 more good places to fish in 18-22 fow.
All fish were 1-2' off the bottom
Ended the day around 4:30 with 26 in the livewell
All fish were caught on Copper Mine Tadpoles
