This article gives an nice explanation of why people think Guntersville fishing is not what it used to be. I would think that this good be for example Lake Fork. the last few years people are complaining about fork is not what it used to be.

Fouz' post is pointing to a different article. The one I posted has facts to dispute pressure alone is causing the down fall.
