I am fixin' to go fishing alone in my 14' aluminum boat. I was wondering if there was a "boat ladder" or something that can aid you getting back into the boat if you stumble and fall overboard? I realize it is probably a stupid question, but am recently retired and don't know if I still had it in me to haul my 6'4" and 230 lbs back inside the boat from the water.....

Not stupid at all. Several types to choose from starting at just a loop step at the bottom of the transom to foldable ladders. It is wise to plan ahead for it. Just google boat ladder and you should find many styles to choose for whichever works best for you.
