X5 Kershaw!!! Been using in salt and fresh and it never rusts!!! I have at least a dozen different pocket knives laying around, always seem to grab the Kershaw, keeps an edge better than the rest!

I've carried a Victorinox Swiss Army for 40 years (not the same one). Really like them.
Just use a butcher's steel to maintain the edge.

Just use a butcher's steel to maintain the edge. I have a decent knife collection but all I ever carry is the basic Victorinox Swiss Army knife.

I use to carry Buck, Case, and Old Timer. All good knifes. Wife bought me a Kershaw several years ago. I now have 5 and the are the best knifes I have. That is all I carry now.

I have a benchmade that my kids gave me. It is nice, stays sharp but is hard to sharpen.

I just ordered a Ontario RAT II. They have some very good reviews. It's supposed to be a great EDC.

+1 on Victorinox Swiss Army. Have for a long time. Knife I have now is on 15 years and counting. And their customer service is good too. The one I currently carry I have had more than 20 years. One of the side plates broke off and the other one was chipped and cracked. Sent it to their distribution center in CT and they repaired it, made it look like new. All I had to pay for was shipping.

Boker are some of the better, non-custom pocket knives I have. Boker (Tree Brand) Eye Brand, Kissing Cranes, Hen & Rooster, just make sure that you buy the ones with the Solingen Steel blades in them, the others are a pain in the rear to keep sharp!
