Had a good frog bite on Decker last night. Also caught some on a structure bug pitched into the reeds.

New to Austin bass fishing myself-- does decker have any decent bank access? There is bank access for fishing near the boat ramp area. Several anglers fish from the bank there.

Decker/Walter E long is a Lake for fishing reeds and surrounding grass. You can catch numbers and size. Bank access is pretty limited and I would imagine it would be hard to fish from the bank. Take a frog and punch rig
Lady Bird Lake is another Great Lake and you can catch big fish. You can only use your trolling motor here so plan accordingly. You can throw anything here, Frogs, whopper, Swim jigs and swim baits, drop shot, texas rig, jig. Fish the bridges and grass
Lake Austin used to be similar to lady bird but the carp ate all the grass. There are still big fish in there but you have to work to find them. Fish structure and docks
Lake Travis is up to normal levels and fishing good. You can catch numbers here with the occasional decent size fish. Lake has a little of everything so you can fish however you like. Right now if you fish shallow top water early and then move out to submerged trees you will do ok.
Lake LBJ is a constant level lake. You can catch numbers and size here. There is grass, docks, rock piles, and reeds so just pick what you like to do.
If you've never been to Austin and want to stay close stick with decker, lady bird, or Travis. Frog bite at decker is tough to beat. If you are willing to drive a little bit LBJ is great.
