A small tip to help you snag a little less, especially for swim jigs, flipping jigs, buzzbaits, and lipless cranks around grass. A small little edge that might get you a couple dozen more clean casts during the day, which could result in that one additional fish that earns you a tourney check or a lunker that makes your weekend a little more fun. Thanks for the tip Tom.
That is the Trilene Knot. That is my primary knot I've been tying for years. I've tested it against the polamar knot and the Trilene knot is stronger. Not only is it more weedless, but more importantly its strong.

If you prefer the polamar knot and want it weedless, just give it one more over and under after the knot is cinched. The over and under puts the tag end towards the hook.

I tie an overhand knot ahead of any knot that leaves the tag end sticking forward. I assume that is the same as what anchorman is doing.
