Fished hybrid point @ power plant point caught over 100 fish including 4 lb.catfish and 5 1/2 lb bass fish were suspended 10 to 15 feet. Found some 14 inchers in 10 ft of water in late afternoon was not expecting them to be that shallow.

Those electronics help a ton, excellent images SPT, makes me want to switch to Lowrance To be honest with ya, as of right now, today, I am favoring the sidescan of the birds and the 2d and down of lowrance. Man, wish I can have the best of both worlds. Same goes for cc boats and bass boats. Same goes for trucks. Same goes for graphic editor softwares, etc etc. All are good but not perfect! But I do love my touch screen. That's the main reason I got it. I've been fortunate to fish with many guides and good buddies and I learned and compared the electronics from them.

Had another good catching Wednesday eve trip last night from 530 to 730, on Gene's awesome red Nautic Star machine. We boated triple digit number of fish. Same spot as last week but no schools. But there were good concentration of hungry fish below us and near us. 14 fow to 3 ft were the catching depths. They hang around the drop off ledges at wind blown points. Slabs, flies, tail spinners were effective. Good luck guys!

We did really well yesterday afternoon with some really magnum sandbass being put in the boat. What I like about Lavon, when you mark fish on your graph, they bite!! Fishing Hubbard you can mark fish all day and they just will not bite. That is really frustrating.

Fished with TFFer Shadboy Bruce from 330 to 630 today and we whacked the sandies again. Wind blown points, 14ft and shallower. Mepps #4, slabs, flies, and crappie jigs were the hammering em today. I dropper loop tied a 2" sassy on top of my mepps #4 and reeling in many doubles. The 2" gray and black sassy is the same size as the shad they been feeding and spitting out. Chunk and wind fish is fun as heck! Go catch em before the front comes, guys!
