none there Mr Horse because most boats only had one fish in their live well. There were some stressed but we fizzed them. There were a few dead fish but compared to the number of fish caught I'd say it was in the 1% numbers.
Most of those that died were eaten.

how many will become floaters? I guess that's a good question at most tournaments this time of year. I was impressed at the finale. Some of the guys in the top 5 talked about how they didn't wait for the t-shirt hours (double $$) because they didn't want to stress their fish any more than they had to. Pretty tough to let $3K slide but very good to hear that conservation was on the minds of anglers, and especially considering this is one of the only tournaments many of these guys fish.

how many will become floaters? Always one in every crowd seems to be doesnt there. So why be that guy? I fished all 3 days this weekend. I got to spend 4 days with my mom & dad while we all had the same dream as everyone - that the one thump on our line was that fish of a lifetime. I saw husbands spending time on the water with their wives, dads fishing with their kids and buddies fishing with buddies. Lots of memories are made on a lake and a tournament with this type of potential reward just adds cream on top. This weekend brought and economic impact of $9m to the local economy. There are lots of positive things to consider and appreciate rather than worrying about if 24 fish died. Yes, your comment shows concern for a whopping 24 fish. That's how many overs were weighed in. I wouldn't trade the time I spent with my folks for those 24 fish. I'm sure I speak for a lot more people, too.
