I'm back! As stated before. I HAVE A 1975 85hp EVINRUDE BUT NO IGNITION KEY, AND I DON'T CARE TO BUY A NEW BATTERY TO REPLACE STOLEN BATTERY. I NEED ADVICE ON HOW TO CONNECT MY CAR JUMPER CABLES DIRECTLY TO CABLES THAT CONNECT DIRECTLY TO ENGINE TO SEE IF THE SOLONOID SHAFT COG WILL RAISE TO ENGAGE WHAT I GUESS IS THE ENGINE'S "COGGED FLY WHEEL" TO SEE IF THAT WILL HOPEFULLY GET THE PROP TURNING. THANK YOU.

Jump yellow-red wire to + battery cable at the starter solenoid. No need for booster cables. Use a screw driver.
