Good luck with that.....I'm the coach of a high school club.....I have about 17 members who don't have a boat captain....In my experience....boat captains don't want to take kids out, if they, themselves, can't fish. I've fished tournaments for over 30 years....being a boat captain, and watching these high school anglers catch their first "keeper" fish during a tournament, is by FAR more enjoyable than fishing myself... Around here I think the biggest problem is with the crazy rules they have. I know 2 guys that have been captains and won't ever do it again.
