I'm desperately wanting to hit a creek or river within 2 hours of DFW this weekend. Can anyone think of a spot that'll be fishable this weekend? I was going to hit the Brazos, but it's looking at about 8,000cfs right about now.

Not that it's any help for now but I bet it's good after they shut that 8000 off. Everything inside two hours will be running hard right now

I'd say, either travel farther or find something that isn't flowing: Texoma, possibly the Red below Denison dam, ponds, other lakes.
Those are my thoughts on the matter.
