I bought 10 packs of Owner wide gap plus hooks 5/0 found them on clearance for .50 cents a package Will these work on big plastics

When using thicker plastics the wider gap allows the bait to bend or compress when the fish bites to expose the point of the hook for better hookup ratio. I tend to use them with all plastics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GR6eOHIcI_Y

Huge gap....Wide gap. Wide gap hooks are good for large bodied baits like Super/Magnum Flukes, thick bodied creature baits, and large swimbaits.

@crankster I know it seems like they should affect the action of the bait, but I have seen no obvious drop off. I only use them on thick bodied plastics like creatures, as I prefer a regular offset worm hook for thinner baits. You got a great deal man!
