Have one and im going to buy a few more. Cast super easy but they do have an issue with the brake drum. Im not sure the exact problem but mine will start to squeak and not perform correctly after a couple trips so then I have to use a cotton swab and alcohol to clean it then a swab of oil to lube it and its ready for a couple more trips.

I have a couple of them, one has the same issues as above the other doesn't. They do cast well and aren't a bad deal for what they cost. They are made in Malaysia and are not of the same quality of their Japanese counterparts, but don't cost $400 either.

The reels are great. I have several of them. In the owners guide, it says to oil the brake drum regularly.id say every third or fourth full day of fishing if using it regularly. One little tiny drop will work. Do not over oil.

Have two and at first I was critical as they didn't feel as solid and smooth as my 200E7s. But have grown to like them and yet to have any issues with them.

I just got a 70 I and it's fantastic. I have had a 200 I as a cranking reel and I wasn't a huge fan of it. The 70 I is a completely different reel and it's a lot better.

I have several and like them. Also have adozen or so Curado greenies for many years thus the confidence in the new ones. Jet.com has good pricing, free shipping, no sales tax and 15% off first orders. It does not say in the listing but they are 6.3 to 1. Good luck. JD

I've got 4 or 5. Love them.I wish I'd never bought a ci4 chronarch and added another curado and saved 100 bucks. Keeping the break drum clean and lubed is a must it's basically burnt plastic left on the brass drum.I take it a step further and smooth out the break pads with a small very fine file.to me they have some advantages overthe e7s. Weight cast adjustments ergos. But I'm not gonna say better than, imo e7 is a goat. My e7s have been running flawlessly for like 8 years

I have a few of them and they are good reels. I have noticed one of them seems to not be engaging when I crank down after a cast sometimes. I've never had a reel do this so I'm not sure what it means.

I have 9 and I really like them. Just have to keep the brake drum oiled.

I am not real impressed with them. Some are fine and others are noisy. I like the E series better. Lews are better reels in my opinion. I have 6 of them but i no longer use 3 of them due to the vibration and noise.

I guess I need to oil the brake drum on mine. Oil on brakes......that just seems strange to me but I will give it a try.
