I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Shannon Drawe on Ray Roberts Sunday. We have traded posts and messages for almost two years now but, somehow never crossed paths until now. So, we drifted around, alternating between catching a slew of small sand bass and talking about our love of all things saltwater. Turns out, we both have been fishing the Three Islands area since we were kids. Anyway, lots of fish were caught and stories were told and Shannon is a cool cat. If you haven't already you should check him out on utube and his blog sight.

I hope to meet Shannon one day. Sunday morning, LMB were HOT in the IDB area!

Holy schmoly. Anybody and everybody -- come on out to the Fly Bar, or better yet maybe meet in Pilot Point at the Western Son Distillery or Lowbrows for an Abita root-beer. Nice photo - caught me with a spinning rod trying to feed the starving family!
