I went to Weatherford for the first time last week and didn't have much luck and suggestions where to start? It seems like a small enough lake so can't be too many spot to look for. One other question any areas to worry about while running the lake? Finally does anyone have the season pass there? I was wondering how it works since they lock the ramp when the marina closes?

I've been a few times and have had very little success. I have caught some small bass off of the aerators in the middle of the lake by the dam.

It can be a awesome lake once you learn good number of big fish. I have 10 DDs out of it. I had the pass last year they give you a gate code and you just come and go as you please. Deep cranks, Crig and shacky heads work good for me.

B.Hollingshead sounds like you have that lake figured out. I went out again today and only got 5 small bass just like th last time I was there. Hoping to find some nicer bass out there but we will see. Wish the pass ran a year from the time of purchase not calendar year!
