If you caught all 70 on Sunday then that is illegal.

If you caught all 70 on Sunday then that is illegal. no it was sat and Sunday that is perfectly legal from my understanding with two people with fishing liscense

when you said you set the lines saturday and ran them sunday i was under the impression that you only took fish off the lines on sunday.

You can only keep 25 cats per person per day so if you set them saturday and pulled half the fish in on Saturday, reset the lines, and pulled the rest in the next day then you're fine, now if you set them all out Saturday and checked them all Sunday and pulled all the fish in Sunday that's illegal, it's all about how many you pull out of the water and keep during that time period, not the average of the two days.

That's what I figured . It was a legit haul then . Set first one out at 10 am sat morn and by the time we had 4th one set at around 12 were haulin fish back to the bank off the first one and just ran them one by one til Sunday about noon pulled last one up and cleaned the last bit a fish . And packed up camp and left about 2 . Hard work and good times . Only thing we weren't 100% on is when the bag limit for the day restarted figured it was 12am to 12 am so we limited out for the day around 10 pm so we chilled and cleaned 1st set of fish and set out to go run the lines around 11:30..

I'm sure you meant cooler...... Fish stored by a person at their residence do not apply to their possession limit.

Nah I kept it legal . Don't want to be greedy there were plenty of filets to go around ..and my thing about it is yah you could prob get away with it but if everybody abused it then there wouldn't be any fish left . And I enjoy the sport of it as much as the food that meat there final resting place in my belly lol so need to leave some behind
