Boat has been in shop, and have not been down in a while.
How is the grass? How is the bite?

Was out there this past weekend pulling the kids around on tubes and wake boards. Snuck out early two mornings to fish from first light to 9 or 10 am. Lots of grass (not hydrilla - pondweed or something like that) along the banks from 2ft on out to 15. Caught em on plastics fishing the pockets in the grass. Biggest was 4 1/2. Hydrilla was deeper in the middle of the coves out beyond the pond weed along the banks. Saw some coon tail grass along a protected bank (caught a bass out of it too). Bite was not bad - best before 9 am. I'm sure they sucked up under cover after that to get out of the sun.
