 Where can buy a motor

I just got the approval from my wife to start pricing a motor for my boat I am looking for a 200 hp motor that I can finance that is not going to break the bank every month. I am thinkin a couple years old fits the bill. Currently I have an 1984 evinrude 150 so at this point I have no idea what brand I want or don't want. It will be going on a 1991 ranger fish and ski rated for a 200
Hope for the best,but prepare for the worst

Any marine dealer should be able to sell you a motor.

Power the boat at its rated hp. If you don't, you'll be wishing you would have. If buying a used motor, have it checked by a reputable mechanic or shop. It's worth paying for.

If I were looking for a used motor, I'd check with my local mechanic. He has a few that he gets in and goes over them or rebuilds and gives a warranty.
