My buddy wants to go fish behind the Spillway this weekend on Texoma... I have never fished there, he wants us to go out on my bass boat. Is it dangerous behind the spillway? I don't want to punch a hole in bottom of my boat on a rock or pipe... is this something I should be worried about? Is fishing any good behind spillway? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's exactly what I was worried about. Luckily I have already talked him out of it. looks like we will go to Lewisville instead. not too fond of that lake due to a lot of ski boats and jet skis.... but hopefully we will be gone before they get out there...

Had to visit a jobsite in sherman earlier this week , so I dropped down to the oklahoma side. local Bank fisherman had gotten skunked from 6am to 3 when I got there. said shad was in there thick by the thousands. water was a good 80 yards from from pavement only one boat trailer. you could see the rip rap from the current in the middle.
