Thinking of going Lake Cooper in the near future.
Have the sand bass and hybrids starting biting?
Has the lake cleared up ?
Thanks,
John_M

Believe it or not I caught hybrids out there last week. banana

1st ones since june last year. Water looks real good compared to a month ago. I have yet to catch a sandie out there tho. Watch for the hybrids blowing the shad out of the water. I didnt mark any fish on the graph, very scattered. I did catch 18 one afternoon and 14 the next, so all in all I was very happy.

We went there in late may and didn't have much luck but the amount of shad in the lake is ridiculous.. hybrid population has to come back.

Any size to the ones you caught?
