Hello,
I have a friend visiting Dallas with his family tomorrow and wanting to catch some hybrid or striper. I told him we can hit either Lewisville or Taxoma but we only doing bank fishing and I don't really have any spot to catch either. Can you guys point me some good spot that we can catch them.
Thank you so much.

Might try below the dam at Texoma, I think they are still releasing but be prepared for combat fishing.

You can go to texoma dam or lewisville dam. If you go to Texoma dam a Surf rod is a must have or at least a 9' medium heavy rod. If you wanna take it easier and no surf rod go to lewisville dam. Just google both dams up. If you go to texoma you will have to go into oklahoma and then back around on to the texas side. Good luck bro

Take Hwy 75 to hwy 84 (it is past Loy Lake and just past the bridge over the railroad yard.), go left on 84 and go about 1 mile to L'il Ol Road (just past the golf course) and take a right. L'il Ol Rd. will take you all the way to the dam, you do not need to go into Okla and back to Texas.

there are places around Preston Point and around Highport that people bank fish and have some luck.
Also Fobbs Botton (across 377 west side of Willis bridge) but you will need a Texoma or Oklahoma fish license to fish that side. Not sure what lake condition is that far west with rain and flood conditions?
good luck
I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!
