The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our sixth meeting of 2016 on Thursday June 9th. The meeting will be held at Bass Pro Garland downstairs in the restaurant on the patio. The meeting will start at 7:00PM.

We are still taking memberships for 2016! Membership costs $30.00 per year and that includes your entire immediate family. Secretary Russell Olds will be taking your information down and Treasurer David Simmons will be taking your money. If you are new to the Club, we will get you to them. You will fill out an information sheet so we know how to get in touch with you. A reminder, if you want to join and qualify for AOY and the Club Championship, you have to fish 5 members only tournaments as well as doing a community event so you would need to join the Club now and fish the rest of the tournaments this year to qualify. We will also have a Sign in Sheet there. Make sure everyone signs in. You get 10 AOY points for every meeting you attend.

We will be recapping last months tournament on Lake Bonham. If you did well, come prepared to tell about the whats, wheres and whys. We will talk about this months tournament coming up on the 11th at Lake Lavon. Tournament hours are 6:00-2:30. We are launching from the Lavonia Park South Ramp. That's the ramp closest to the dam. Nice to be back on Lavon! It's also getting warm out there so fish care will be a topic. All tournament information will be posted here in the Bass Clubs section. We will also be doing partner finder. If you do not have someone to fish with, do not fish solo. Let's make sure no one is left out.

We will vote on tournament hours for our July tournament on Lake Ray Hubbard. We will touch on the standings for AOY. Remember, the Top Six Tournament is coming up in August. Time to make a move if you want to fish there. We will go over the qualifications for being Angler of the Year, and fishing in the Club Championship tournament, which this year will be on Cedar Creek in November. We will talk about a new venture for our community service. We have a large benefit tournament in the works for October. We are in the preliminary planning stages but it's going to be a great opportunity for us to make a difference in our community.

Lots to go over so come early and stay late. Bring your appetite as wait staff will be there for your food and drink orders. Beer and other libations are available from your bartenders inside. Hope to see you there!
