Yep, they do. Throwing a big white topwater where cormorants are crapping from the trees is a good pattern.

It's Carp. Was there two weeks ago and saw them swimming everywhere in the pads. Even saw 3 that had "beached" themselves swimming too shallow. They were exploding on top of the water! I was so pissed off when i realized they were carp....
