Had a slow morning on Grapevine today, so I packed up my things, went got some lunch regrouped and headed out to Lake Worth to try my luck with some High Water reed bass....and guess what... It paid off. Landed this 7 LB monster in 5 feet of water in the tall reeds under the 820 Bridge. Lugged him in with a double willow white spinner bait.

Its pretty high, .6 above flood stage, but COE says it should fall below the level Sat or Sun. Bank fishing is in as all boat traffic is closed
