To you guys using braided line on your Tatula and (other Daiwas with the T Wing): How is that T Wing holding up? I have 3 Tatulas, and want to put braid on one of them, so I thought I'd ask about it. Thanks

I have had some since before they were released for retail and have yet to have the first issue with any. They get hard use and in the 3 plus years I have had them they have become one of my all time favorite models.

I've been using 65# braid with no issues for a couple years. Both for flipping and frog fishing.

All 5 of mine are fine. I thank Mark for telling me about them. At least 2 years ago.

Friends, thanks for your input. I have been a Shimano guy since the Curados hit the market back in the 1980s. I have enjoyed using the Tatulas so much-best casting reels I have ever used-that I have about decided to slowly transition over to Daiwas. I will go ahead and put braid on one of mine for frogs/buzzbaits/etc. Thanks again.

I have two Tatula's and they are my favorite reels as well. I'm planning to get more in the future as my older reels start to wear out.

Have five here as well. All still work great but, I don't use them as often or as heavily as some here. Braid, yep no problems. God Bless

Well....I have a TWS Zillion. It's a year old and starting to show signs of severe use. Gears are getting sloppy and the spool release sometimes doesn't release completely. ....causing a horrendous grinding noise on a cast. Sometimes it just pops back like a flipping reel and the bait zings right back at me. Lol.
Over all, the TWS part is a huge success. Gonna get a few TWS reels on my next allotment of reels.
Tatula rods? Awesome for the money too.
